When it comes to Cosmoledo, I've definitely become a repeat offender! It's especially nice to spend time there with like-minded individuals. The week in February 2018 was exceptionally beautiful. Together with my friends Helmut Alleze, Georg Marberger, Helmut Alexander, Peter Jones, Alan Rosen, Günther Wimmer, and Ueli Zellweger, we had an unforgettable time on the catamaran Lone Star.
The fishing was top-notch, starting with perfect conditions featuring 100% sunshine and no clouds or wind. It was hot, of course, but we could spot every single fish on the flats from a distance - including GTs.
Our group of eight anglers managed to catch 123 GTs, many large bonefish, a few triggers, and numerous other reef fish - all under the guidance of highly professional guides Dave Marshall, Cameron Musgrave, Alex, Olli, and Devan v.d. Merwe from the Alphonse Fishing Company.
