Cosmoledo Atoll in the Indian Ocean is part of the Aldabra Group, which belongs to the Outer Islands of the Seychelles. The atoll is located approximately 1,000 kilometres south-west of the main island of Mahé. It consists of numerous small islands that enclose a large, shallow lagoon. The actual land area is comparatively small, whilst the lagoon makes up the majority of the atoll.
Thanks to its remoteness and unspoilt natural environment, Cosmoledo Atoll is considered a true paradise for anglers. Sport fishermen in particular appreciate the waters, which are teeming with fish, including bonefish, trevallies and other sought-after species.
The next trip to this extraordinary region is planned for the week of the new moon in February 2027, for which there are currently still a few places available.
